Terms and Conditions

Refund and Transfer Policy
Refunds, transfers, and credits are NOT allowed if the course starts in 7 days or less.

Release of Liability
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Carolyn's K9 College, its instructors, volunteers, property owners, participants, and insurers of all these parties (the Parties) from and against any and all expenses, losses, claims, liabilities of any nature that arise from or incident to the use of the facilities and equipment belonging to or used by the Parties. I understand that my dog and I use the facilities and equipment at our own risk and that the Parties are not responsible for any accident, injury, or illness that might arise from such use.

Aggression Policy
Dogs showing aggression toward another dog or human being will NOT be allowed to remain in class. This includes dogs that are reactive (barking aggressively) toward others dogs in class. Clients asked to leave class due to an aggression issue will be given the prorated balance of their class fee. An option to use the fee for a private lesson will also be available. Please schedule an evaluation if you are unsure if your dog is appropriate for a class setting.

Vaccination and Health Policy
Carolyn's K9 College requires all dogs to be current on vaccinations according to age for DHPP and Rabies.  Bordetella is recommended but not required. Following Texas law, all dogs 16 weeks of age and older must be vaccinated for Rabies. For DHPP, titers are acceptable. Vet records must be presented before bringing your dog to class. Please have your vet make a copy of your dog's vaccination records and/or email them to honish@carolynsk9college.com.

No dogs with visible signs of illness should be brought to the facilities used Carolyn's K9 College. Dogs adopted or rescued from a shelter or outside a pet store environment should not allowed in classes or on property within two weeks of adoption or rescue. Females in heat may attend classes if diapered.

Leash Policy
For the health and safety of all dogs and handlers,  please have your dog on a leash when arriving for or departing a class, or as directed by your instructor. No retractable leashes or electronic collars allowed in classes. Dogs should arrive on a nylon or leather leash and collar or harness.

Clean-Up Policy
You are responsible for picking up after your dog when it poops outside.  Poop bags and cleaning supplies are available for your convenience.

Children
Children ages 10 and older are allowed to accompany parents if they participate in the training and are not a distraction to the class.

Adults

Because the training facility is small, only two humans per dog are allowed.  If you plan to bring a child, please bring a child (age 10 and older) with one adult only.

Permission to Photograph
You permit Carolyn's K9 College to photograph you, your children, and/or your dog and use the photos for media, advertising, or websites.
